The ALUR law now imposes professional training on all real estate professionals in order to provide a more stringent framework for these professions. In order to renew your professional card, you must successfully complete this training. Your card must be updated every three years. The required hours represent a minimum of 14 hours of training per year and 42 hours over the three years.
From January 2021, in addition to the two hours of compulsory training on ethics, you must also take two hours of training on anti-discrimination in access to housing. The regulations require you to take at least four hours of training on these subjects every three years. The other topics may concern the legal field in general, commercial and economic aspects, or technical fields relating to town planning, energy transition or construction in the broad sense, but the choice of topic is left to each individual participant. This allows each person to develop their general knowledge and professional skills.
